Latoya Davis is a Sr Technical Program Manager in Amazon where she manages programs for the Performance Advertising group which scale to thousands of advertisers and millions of shoppers daily. Prior to Amazon, Latoya was an Advisory Software Engineer and Technical Product Manager at IBM for a combined 11 years where she was awarded 4 U.S. patents working on social applications for the workforce and improving digital experiences for other businesses. Latoya earned her Bachelor’s in Computer Systems Engineering from Boston University and her MBA from Northeastern University. Over the years she has been involved with various activities and organizations that promote technology awareness. This includes leading the Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program in Amazon NYC, serving as a mentor with BuiltByGirls and over 20 years with the National Society for Black Engineers (NSBE) helping to put on pre-college, collegiate and professional programs. Originally from Boston and still a Patriots fan, she now resides in New Jersey with her Husband and 2 girls (ages 3 and 1) who she is eager to teach coding to in addition to enjoying play time with their Barbie dreamhouse.
