Glenn Arnold is currently a Principle Program Manager for the Infrastructure Architecture and Tools Department at the MathWorks. This department is responsible for enabling the technology and environment required by the company’s development community. He works with management to plan and implement software build and test architecture and tools for Mathworks development, including the introduction of new hardware architectures, operating systems and compiler platforms to the MathWorks.
Glenn has background and experience that includes strategic planning, technology development, product management, program management, business operations, and manufacturing engineering.
Prior to joining the MathWorks, Glenn was responsible for program management and operations at EMC in the Advanced Software Division and in Global Product Operations. Prior to EMC, he worked at Lucent Technologies/AT&T. At Lucent/AT&T Glenn held various positions in computer design, product engineering, international strategic supplier management, product management and quality. He has worked in multiple technology areas, including computers, wireless infrastructure, voice switching, data networking, storage management and network management.
Glenn has a MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Business and a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Morehouse College and a second Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
