Makanjuola Ogunleye

I am a 4th-year Computer Science Ph.D. Candidate at Virginia Tech with research in AI and ML. Specifically, I explore how Emergent Communication can benefit Vision Language Pretraining. This area of research has applications in Image-Text Search experiences and Generative AI. I have published at top conferences and filed for patents. In recent times I have received a competitive Cadence Black in Technology Scholarship, an Alexa Taskbot award, and nominations for Google and Microsoft Fellowships.
