Oo Nwoye has spent the last 15 years building the African tech ecosystem as a founder, advisor, activist, commentator and occasional investor.
He’s currently the founder of TechCircle, a tech advisory firm, that facilitates connections between investors and corporates with the African market through ecosystem-wide programs and events. This includes “Pitch2Win,” a startup pitch competition that has attracted up to 2000 applicants, providing a platform for tech founders to showcase their innovations and “OyaMakeWeGroove,” an annual tech party in Nigeria and abroad, drawing hundreds of attendees each December.
Oo shares his insights on politics and technology through writing and interviews, some of which has been featured in TechCabal, CNN, The Economist, Bloomberg, and Business Insider. As a passive investor, je has a portfolio of over 16 companies.
