This is my first time hearing about the Conference. Will this be your first year hosting Black Is Tech?

No. The 2024 Conference will be our 6th year. This will also be our first official year transitioning back to an In-person only Conference. Over the past four years, we’ve included a virtual portion of the Conference. This time, we are focusing the entire experience on IRL only

What’s the expected attendance for the 2024 Conference?

Expected Attendance for 2024 is 5,000 – 6,000 for core Black Is Tech Conference activities . We expect a combined total of 10,000 people for all Black Is Tech Conference and Houston Black Is Tech Week activations across the city of Houston.

What is the venue for the conference?

This year’s conference will held at the Hilton Americas – Houston in Houston, TX

How much do tickets cost to attend the Conference?

Right now, we have an ongoing promo for tickets beginning at $149. These special Holiday prices are 50% off the original cost of tickets. Ticket prices go up on January 3rd, 2024.

Who will be speaking at the event?

We are working on an impressive line-up of speakers this year. Speakers will be announced soon. If you would love to speak at the Conference, click on the “Speaking Opportunities” menu to fill the speaker form.
