Black Is Tech 2024: a 3 Day Full In-person Experience
The 6th Annual Black Is Tech Conference takes place on August 19 – 21, 2024. The Conference this year is an in-person only experience as we take a break from the virtual portion of the Conference. Black Is Tech 2024 will include Speaking Stages with over 150 speakers and 5 tracks, a full day of Workshops (Workshop Day), an Expo with over 50 companies recruiting, Happy Hours, and so much more…all IN-PERSON in Houston, TX.
In addition to the core Conference activities, we are also introducing the Houston Black Is Tech week. Houston Black Is Tech Week takes place from August 19 – 24 and will include a number of activations across the city of Houston, including the Senior Developer Summit, The Energy 2.0 Summit, The Web3 Summit among other events. This year, we are expecting 6,000 attendees in-person for the Black Is Tech Conference main event and a total of 10,000 attendees across all Houston Black Is Tech Week activations.
Creating an impact in Tech for Black Communities
Our goal is to use our platform to create connections between our audiences and also provide the resources necessary to create significant impact in the tech industry. Speakers share their experiences and outlook on the state of tech and its future impact on the world, especially for Black communities; attendees learn skills they need to be competitive and become significant players in an ever-changing tech ecosystem; companies connect with attendees as well as enhance their diversity initiatives and workforce.
