As a Vice President within Cisco’s IT organization, Kanyatta is responsible for delivering best-in-class technical solutions that power Cisco’s critical internal Human Resources and Legal applications. Kanyatta’s organization is committed to creating exceptional employee experiences by focusing on engineering with automation, simplicity, and security in mind— making Cisco an even better place to work.
As an accomplished executive professional with more than 24 years across technology, digital transformation, operations, and engineering, Kanyatta is known for embracing change, driving innovation, and solving for complex problems. She most recently served as Vice President of Cisco’s IT Operations where she led strategy, governance, risk, and compliance for the organization.
Prior to joining Cisco, Kanyatta led IT transformation and operations at ADP.
Passionate about mentoring and fostering professional development of young women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Kanyatta currently serves on the Advisory Board of Directors for Women In Technology (WIT) and the Advisory Council for the Executive Women of Goizueta at Emory University.
Kanyatta holds an MBA from Emory’s Goizueta School of Business, a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Software Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi and was recently selected as a member of the 2024 class of Leadership Atlanta.
Kanyatta lives in Johns Creek with her husband and daughter. When not spending time with family and friends (and not on the softball field cheering on her daughter), she enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
